THSC is an educational non-profit organization whose work is dealing with disseminating information to the public and to home educators. THSC is also responsible for helping new home schoolers across the state as well as maintaining a network of information and communication between and among the leadership of regional home school organizations, local support groups, and individual home schooling families. Its mission is to serve and protect home school families in Texas.

Ministering in Christ's name, TCASHE is an organization on a mission to provide a truly Christian- based statewide leadership association for Texas' homeschoolers. TCASHE will work closely with HSLDA to provide legal advice and recommendations regarding homeschool law and legislation. In addition, TCASHE is partnering with other organizations both nationally and regionally, such as the Homeschool Foundation, Supporting Home Educators of Lower Texas Education Region (SHELTER), Southeast Texas Home School Association (SETHSA), and the North Texas Home Educators' Network (NTHEN) to strengthen the Christian foundation of homeschooling throughout Texas.

Homeschool families can join TCASHE for a nominal fee of $25 a year. Membership benefits include a free one-year subscription to Homeschooling Today, HSLDA group membership discount, a free homeschool student ID card, notification regarding legislation affecting Texas homeschoolers, and a 50 percent discount at The L.A.M.B. Company on certain educational purchases.

TCASHE will provide assistance to all homeschool families to keep Texas a Christian homeschool- friendly state.

The Home School Legal Defense Association is a non-profit advocacy organization established to defend and advance the constitutional right of parents to direct the education of their children and to protect family freedoms. Through annual memberships, HSLDA is tens of thousands of families united in service together, providing a strong voice when and where needed.

The North Texas Home Educators' Network (NTHEN) is the largest of several regional homeschool organizations in Texas serving local homeschool support group leaders in over 160 support groups in 88 counties in North and Northeast Texas. NTHEN upholds the Christian principles under which home schooling has flourished and our Mission Statement is: “To honor Christ as we seek to encourage home education by edifying, equipping and informing home school leaders and the general public.” NTHEN sponsors two major home school conferences and bookfairs each year in the Dallas/Ft.
